The Gold Standard Studio requested an evaluation of the noise isolation between the live room and control room. A transmission loss test was performed between the two rooms to determine the STC of the demising wall.
The existing wall STC was found to be sub-par, particularly for loud recording sessions. A new demising wall was designed with computer simulated acoustical modeling to mitigate the transmitted noise. Additional measures were also suggested to reduce the control room reverberation time.
The results were prepared for and submitted to the client.
